  • Associate membership is a way to sign up to our email list. All members on our mailing lists are already considered associate members. There are no dues, age or locality requirements for associate membership. No membership of any kind is needed to attend Masjid services.

  • In Islamic jurisprudence, there are arguments for and against the use of Zakat funds for building and maintaining mosques. ICCH follows AMJA’s opinion that adopted the latter. Accordingly, ICCH will not label operation expenses, expansion costs and endowments funds as Zakat avenues. While ICCH encourages donors to pay Zakat-ul-mal directly to the eligible charities, when ICCH receives a check marked for Zakat-ul-mal, we usually forwards it to other local and national Zakat-eligible organizations. We encourage donors to make an educated decision on where they want their Zakat funds to go and mark it clearly to avoid confusion.

If a donor opted to donate Zakat for masjid operations, ICCH will not refuse any donations given in good faith.
